What we do.

Our Pillars

EDUCATION

Our approach hinges on the view that we are invited to become kin with the Earth. The qualities of this relationship, like reciprocity and gratitude, are central to our theory of change. We teach climate courage and create curriculum for youth. Retreats, training, grief rituals, body-based ecology.

RESEARCH

We believe all beings can speak the language of the land, which begins in our bodies. Through cultivating interoceptive awareness, we work in a rhythm of listening and speaking with the land. We create evidence for embodied approaches to ecological connection, contribute to pioneering research on the human and Earth connection, collaborate with universities and environmental education centers to raise awareness and mindfulness about the importance of trees and our relationship with the forest.

STORYTELLING

Our lives, bodies, spirits and futures are inseparably intertwined with that of the Earth’s systems, biodiversity and intelligence. Our future is an experiment that we each get to author in collaboration with nature. Books, film, journalism, immersive and public art, and cultural narrative work that shifts how people understand their relationship to the living world

INDIGINEOUS SOLIDARITY

We flourish when the Earth does. We make this possible through protecting old growth forests and supporting Indigenous-led organizations that defend the world’s biodiversity.
